Robert J. Chiaradio served for 25 years in federal and local law enforcement and homeland security. He held a number of key executive management positions as an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) including; Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa Field Division and most notably, as one of the four Executive Assistant Directors which were direct reports to Director Robert Mueller. Mr. Chiaradio also served as the General Manager for Security Operations in the Transportation Security Administration and as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal and senior advisor on law enforcement to the Deputy Assistant Attorney General.
While serving as an agent with the FBI, he has personally conducted and directed vast array of large-scale domestic and international investigations. He led significant organizational components of that organization including oversight of five administrative division and an annual budget of more than $4B. His investigative experience includes: complex white-collar crime matters such as; financial institution fraud, advanced fee or “ponzi” schemes, wire and mail fraud, fraud against government programs, public corruption, and health care fraud. He also has extensive experience conducting investigations of organized crime, narcotics, conspiracies, money laundering, property crimes and violent crimes.
Mr. Chiaradio has significant experience in the private sector, providing consulting services as a senior member of two of the world’s largest professional services companies. His practice areas included law enforcement and homeland security strategy and operations; counterterrorism; information sharing; business process reengineering; transportation security; supply chain security; and performance measurement.
Mr. Chiaradio received a Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University. He is a graduate of many specialized investigative and leadership programs provided through the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and Treasury Department.
